I got a shot like this the other day. But I didn't know what plant it was in the picture with the moon. Thanks for posting this one, because now I know. Also very nice shot and better then the one I got.

If you got the shot a couple days ago in the early evening it was not Mars but probably Jupiter(looking South-South-West) If in the morning it might have been Venus(Looking East).

It was early morning and facing east. The sun would of been coming up right under it, in like a hour.
